In September 2024, we launched Root to Rise — a $6 million campaign to strengthen Mesa’s foundation, ensure long-term sustainability, and set the stage for future expansion and replication.

Many homeless adults first faced housing instability as teenagers or young adults. At Mesa, we meet young people at that critical crossroads, providing stability, housing, and community before instability becomes a lifelong struggle. With your partnership, we are growing the roots that will sustain Mesa for years to come—ensuring that young people in Ventura County have a strong foundation to thrive today and for generations to come.

In 2026, five members of our original cohort will move into independent housing, including rented rooms, apartments, or supportive placements. Their success opens the door for five new young adults to embark on their transformational journey at Mesa. It costs about $60,000 per year to support one young adult at Mesa.
